The South Central Axis International Cultural Science and Technology Park (hereinafter referred to as the Cultural Science and Technology Park) was transformed and upgraded from the prosperous Dahongmen Garment Trade City. The central axis of the ancient capital of Beijing can be called the "axis of social security" and is the backbone and soul of Beijing. "Beijing's unique magnificent order is born from the establishment of this central axis." As a demonstration benchmark for urban industrial renewal in the South Central Axis and an important part of Beijing's non-capital functions, the Cultural Science and Technology Park aims at future industries, intends to build a unicorn enterprise accelerator, and build a world-class new landmark of "technology + culture" and a new highland of digital economy.

Near-zero-carbon projects to create comfortable and pleasant buildings

"Since April 16, the building has generated 19,500 kWh of PV, and today it has generated 343.4 kWh." Chang Jian, manager of the business planning department of Fengtai Branch of Beijing Heating Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Jingneng Group, told reporters at the smart energy management and control center of the Metaverse Building that the integrated energy system of the park makes full use of renewable energy to maximize energy conservation and carbon reduction in buildings.

According to reports, the park energy system is composed of cold and heat sources, photovoltaic power generation, and charging piles, among which, the park cold and heat source system is composed of water source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, energy tower heat pumps and ice cold storage to form a multi-energy coupling energy system, which is completely driven by electricity, does not consume primary energy, does not have any pollutant emissions, and realizes "zero-carbon energy supply".

"The electric drive comes from the park's direct purchase of green electricity and rooftop photovoltaic systems, 980 square meters of cadmium telluride thin-film cells are installed on the roof, 488 monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic arrays are laid on the roof, and all the power generation during the cooling and heating period is used for heat pump unit energy supply." Chang Jian said that a comprehensive energy intelligent management and control platform has made the park's energy management and temperature management digital, refined and intelligent.

It is understood that the park's comprehensive energy intelligent management and control platform has functions such as energy consumption monitoring, energy efficiency analysis, centralized control, and intelligent operation and maintenance. For the implementation of dynamic monitoring of the energy system and key energy-using facilities, all the terminal air-conditioning equipment in public areas realizes wireless upload of environmental data, automatically adjusts and optimizes the system operation strategy, the terminal pipe network is controlled by electric valves, and the terminal air conditioner is finely managed through remote thermostats, so as to realize the intelligent linkage control of source, network and load, and create a "smart energy supply" system in the park.

In addition, the building's passive building technology also helps the building achieve effective temperature mediation. Chang Jian added that overall, compared with traditional energy forms, the project can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 3,116.15 tons per year, achieving good dual carbon benefits, and providing a demonstration and setting a benchmark for the transformation of existing parks.

"With culture + technology as the main axis, we will build a green, low-carbon, pleasant, comfortable, and future-oriented Zhongguancun Innovation Community 4.0 integrating industrial office + industrial supporting business + talent apartment." Yan Fu said.

It is understood that the cultural science and technology park, with a construction area of 195,000 square meters and an above-ground building of 136,000 square meters, is surrounded by green spaces such as the Liangshui River Ecological Landscape Belt, Fuhai Park, Nanyuan Forest Wetland Park, and shared lecture halls, specialty restaurants, theme bookstores and other supporting facilities. Science and technology finance, international cooperation services, incubation services, policy services and other full-chain, one-stop services from registration to listing.

At present, more than 180 enterprises have landed in the park.
