Ningbo Zhenhai Port District "hydrogen" is on the battlefield
Hydrogen energy is a kind of secondary energy with large reserves, wide sources, high efficiency, clean and low-carbon, and renewable, and is known as the secondary energy with the most development potential in the 21st century. Recently, the No. 3-1 loading key operation line in Haigang District, Zhoushan Port Town, Ningbo ushered in the trial operation of the first hydrogen energy heavy truck. This is the first time that the Zhenhai Port District Automobile Team has used hydrogen energy heavy trucks in bulk cargo operations, and it is also another powerful measure for the Zhenhai Port District to promote "carbon peak and carbon neutrality".
According to the test, this hydrogen fuel cell system as the powertrain of this hydrogen energy heavy truck in the full load of 35 tons of coal for a complete loading cycle, hydrogen fuel consumption is only about 1%, compared with the diesel dump truck to reduce the energy cost of about 75%, and to achieve the whole process of pollution-free, zero carbon emissions, and at the same time to achieve a single mileage of about 700 kilometers, compared with the traditional fuel truck and the emerging electric truck, more in line with the needs of environmental protection. Although the initial input cost is relatively high in terms of economy, it is expected that the cost will be significantly reduced as mass production progresses, giving it an advantage over conventional fuel vehicles in long-term operation.
In recent years, Zhenhaigang District has accelerated the increase in the proportion of clean energy use of vehicles, completely eliminated diesel-powered container trucks and dump trucks of China III and below, gradually updated and eliminated traditional diesel-powered container trucks, dump trucks, small forklifts, and auxiliary vehicles, and gave priority to the use of clean energy or new energy power for new or updated mobile machinery. In 2023, 15 internal combustion forklifts will be phased out and 12 electric forklifts will be added in Zhenhai District, and 24 internal combustion forklifts and 15 electric forklifts will be added in 2024. In 2025, Zhenhai Port District plans to update 2 new energy forklifts, and the number of new energy mobile machinery will reach 29, accounting for more than 26% of the total number of mobile machinery, and the proportion of new energy mobile machinery is expected to exceed 30% by 2027. Zhenhai District is also actively promoting the trial of hydrogen energy flow machines, and is currently selecting a hydrogen refueling station.
In the next step, Zhenhai Port District will give full play to the advantages of hydrogen energy according to the trial operation experience of hydrogen energy heavy trucks, continuously expand hydrogen energy application scenarios, accelerate the application of port hydrogen energy equipment, and inject new impetus into the construction of "green port".
