Faced with the severe challenge of global climate change, Dagang Oilfield deeply realizes the importance of achieving carbon neutrality and uses "simultaneous development of five carbons" as its action guide, namely resource efficiency and carbon reduction, energy structure reduction, carbon storage in geological space, Carbon sequestration in ecosystems and market mechanisms to integrate carbon to comprehensively promote green and low-carbon transformation.
In terms of resource efficiency and carbon reduction, Dagang Oilfield is committed to improving energy efficiency, reducing energy consumption, and reducing carbon emissions. By improving equipment and technology upgrades, and vigorously promoting energy-saving technologies and management measures, a significant improvement in energy utilization efficiency has been achieved. Actively promote the application of electric drilling rigs in environmentally sensitive areas. By replacing diesel power with grid power, nearly 30,000 tons of standard coal have been comprehensively saved in the past five years; the requirements for clean production operations on drilling and workover sites have been standardized to achieve "no dripping water and return oil to the warehouse"; By applying the technology of drilling waste mud that does not fall to the ground while drilling, a 100% non-falling treatment rate of drilling waste is achieved. This spring, a total of more than 4400 people were organized to participate in voluntary tree planting activities, investing 4.65 million yuan, and planting more than 15,500 seedlings of various types. In terms of reducing carbon emissions in the energy structure, Dagang Oilfield actively adjusts its energy structure and vigorously develops non-fossil energy, such as clean energy such as photovoltaics and geothermal energy. In the past five years, Dagang Oilfield has successively built photovoltaic power generation projects at the Gangshi Base, the central area roof and well pad fence. The total installed photovoltaic capacity has reached 82 MW, the annual power generation capacity has exceeded 130 million kilowatt-hours, and the emission of carbon dioxide has been reduced by 115,000 tons. Build a new pattern of geothermal business development with Tianjin as the center and radiating to the four provinces. Up to now, the total shallow geothermal energy heating (cooling) area of Dagang Oilfield has reached 690,000 square meters, and PetroChina was the first in the oil area to build PetroChina's largest shallow geothermal group. Through the implementation of these green energy projects, dependence on fossil energy has been effectively reduced and carbon emissions have been reduced.

In terms of carbon storage in geological spaces, Dagang Oilfield has given full play to its technical advantages in CCUS technology, paying equal attention to carbon reduction and carbon utilization. Carbon dioxide generated during industrial production can be effectively processed through carbon capture, utilization and storage technologies. At the same time, we have overcome the problem of balanced heavy oil displacement, and successfully developed a "chemical flooding + carbon dioxide" dual-flow control composite displacement system for heavy oil reservoirs, achieving efficient production of heavy oil reservoirs."R & D and industrialization of a green and efficient displacement system for old oil fields with high water cut" Application "has reached the international advanced level in terms of chemical flooding to reduce consumption of fresh water resources, chemical flooding and carbon dioxide sequestration technology to improve recovery of heavy oil reservoirs, and green tone flooding environmental protection systems. Since the beginning of the year, 23 wells of carbon dioxide huff and puff have been implemented in low-yield and low-efficiency wells of heavy oil and shale oil, and 10,300 tons of carbon have been injected, achieving a phased oil increase of 3,400 tons; the CCUS-EOR pilot test of deep low permeability thin oil has been carried out, and the CCUS-EOR pilot test plan for Gangshen 30 well area of Alliance Oilfield has been completed. Greenhouse gas emissions have been reduced and positive contributions have been made to addressing climate change.
In terms of carbon sequestration in ecosystems, Dagang Oilfield focuses on the protection and restoration of the ecological environment and actively participates in the construction of ecological civilization. Through afforestation, wetland protection and the establishment of biodiversity reserves, the carbon sequestration capacity of the ecosystem has been enhanced, green ecological well pad construction projects have been carried out, green plant cultivation tasks in more than 10 well pads have been completed, and more than 10,000 shrubs have been planted and maintained. Plant; shut down more than 130 oil and gas wells in wetland reserves and environmentally sensitive areas, and completed land reclamation and ecological restoration; A self-contribution biodiversity reserve in the Suaeda salsa Ecological Zone has been established, covering an area of 620,000 square meters. According to resource survey statistics, the protected reed, Suaeda salsa-Tamarix community has more than 300 species of vertebrates and benthos, achieving the harmonious coexistence of economic development and environmental protection.

In terms of market mechanism carbon integration, Dagang Oilfield actively responded to the national carbon market policy and achieved carbon emission reduction in the most cost-effective way. After full-scale carbon accounting for production and operation, the cumulative balance of carbon quotas in the first half of the year was 80,000 tons. Adopt more environmentally friendly production methods and technologies to promote the research and development and application of green and low-carbon technologies. Dagang Oilfield has also carried out useful explorations in the field of energy storage and built a sodium ion energy storage test power station with a design capacity of 1 MW/1 MWh. Sodium ferric phosphate batteries with high safety and long cycle life are selected as energy storage battery. The battery pack consists of a battery compartment and a booster integrated cabin. It has multiple functions such as peak cutting and valley filling, and emergency support."As one of the 'pathfinders' of sodium ion energy storage power stations, Dagang Oilfield is working on new energy storage. Useful attempts have been made in construction technology research and accumulated valuable experience for the subsequent large-scale application of energy storage technology."
