Different from aquatic power generation such as the Fengyanshen Reservoir, Meigang Village in Shaokou Township uses more than 500 acres of idle barren land to uniformly install solar photovoltaic power generation panels and explores the establishment of "agriculture-light complementary" photovoltaic power generation model of "above-ground power generation and ground grass planting". "At present, we have completed more than 100 acres of forage planting area. In the next step, we will plant all this land with forage to help villagers increase their income and improve the ecological environment." In recent years, Shaokou Township has relied on its rich landscape resource endowment to vigorously develop the "Yuguang + Nongguang" complementary photovoltaic power generation project, strengthen and expand the green energy industry, and ignite a new engine for green development. Up to now, the "Yuguang + Nongguang" complementary photovoltaic power generation project in Shaokou Township has built 54 MW of "floating" Yuguang complementary photovoltaic power generation area using more than 1800 acres of idle water surface of the Fengpanshen Reservoir and Xianrengang Reservoir and surrounding farmland lifting areas. Power generation area and 38 MW "pile-mounted" agriculture-light complementary power generation area.
The "Yuguang + Nongguang" complementary photovoltaic power generation model can not only provide clean energy, but also achieve carbon reduction and efficiency improvement. "The project generates an average of 101 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, saving 33,600 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 92,300 tons." Li Fanghai, head of Shaokou Township Photovoltaic Power Station, said that the full-cycle power generation of the project is expected to reach more than 2.6 billion kilowatt hours, the total tax payment will reach 105 million yuan, and the land transfer fee will be paid to 16.12 million yuan, which has effectively promoted local economic development.
The "Yuguang + Nongguang" complementary photovoltaic power generation model has also effectively promoted employment for local people. "During the construction and operation of the project, more than 1200 migrant workers were used, several local employees were recruited, and several labor dispatched employees were hired." Qiu Ye said.
