Xiangyang approved more than 10 million yuan in Hubei energy conservation special funds

Xiangyang City approved a special fund for energy conservation of 10.5 million yuan, accounting for 21% of the province's total funds. Xiangyang City completed the "14th Five-Year Plan" goal of reducing energy consumption intensity set by Hubei Province ahead of schedule, and was approved by the provincial government of 2.1 million yuan in energy conservation target assessment and reward funds, ranking first in the province.

The two approved projects above are the energy-saving and carbon-reduction technical transformation project of the titanium dioxide production line of Longbai Xiangyang Titanium Co., Ltd. and the comprehensive energy-saving transformation project of Xiangfan Fushi Textile and Garment Co., Ltd. The two projects plan to carry out energy-saving renovation of the company's existing production lines. After the renovation is completed, the energy efficiency level of the company's key energy-using equipment will be increased from Level 3 to Level 1. It is estimated that 13,000 tons of standard coal will be saved every year and 37,000 tons of carbon emissions will be reduced. Economic benefits and environmental benefits are significant.
