Yueqing has the golden business card of the country's advanced manufacturing cluster. The road of industrial green and low-carbon transformation is also in a leading position among counties (cities, districts) in Zhejiang Province. This is due to Yueqing's promotion of green transformation and development in recent years and exploring the way for the "carbon" path. Nowadays, whether it is industrial products or photovoltaic power generation, green and low-carbon lifestyles have penetrated all aspects of production and life, becoming a new trend.

Products are carbon labeled

In early autumn, in the workshop of Huanghua Group Co., Ltd., the lean production line was running in an orderly manner. Although this label is small, it allows Huanghua Group Co., Ltd.'s products to remain highly competitive in domestic and foreign markets. Last year, this metal fully enclosed gas insulated circuit breaker ring network cabinet passed the carbon footprint evaluation and obtained a carbon label, becoming a low-carbon "power transmitter", which also enabled the company to obtain many orders.

As early as 2022, five Yueqing companies will obtain the first batch of "carbon label" certification for electrical products in the country.

What is a "carbon label"? "'Carbon labeling 'is to quantify and identify the greenhouse gas emissions emitted by goods during the production process by labeling, and inform consumers of the carbon emissions information of products and enterprises in the form of labels. It's like labeling a product with a carbon emission ID card, which allows the general public to obtain product carbon information and plays a role in guiding consumption." Ye Jianhua, the "Energy Consumption Actuary" of Zhejiang Huichen Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., who is deeply involved in the carbon footprint evaluation of many Yueqing enterprises, explained that through carbon footprint evaluation, companies can identify links with relatively high carbon reduction potential and adopt corresponding Optimization measures, save production and operating costs, and achieve energy conservation and emission reduction, are also conducive to actively responding to international carbon-related trade policies.

The small "carbon label" relies on a complete set of carbon footprint management systems. Yueqing's attention to carbon footprint stems from the practical significance of enterprise development. According to reports, the impact of carbon footprint on enterprises has two aspects. Internally, it is low-carbon transformation and development, and carbon footprint can be used as the main tool for enterprises to reduce carbon; externally, it is export trade empowerment, that is, it can actively respond to international carbon-related trade policies.

Since being selected as one of the first batch of low-carbon pilot counties in the province for industrial transformation in 2021, Yueqing has successively launched "Carbon Portrait Five-Color Map" and "Low Carbon Code". In cooperation with the China Electronic Energy Conservation Technology Association, it has taken the lead in compiling and releasing the "Power and Electrical Products Carbon Label Evaluation" group logo provides standardized guidance for carbon footprint evaluation and carbon label certification of power and electrical products, and builds a management model of "enterprise carbon emission verification-carbon labeling-carbon chain management-carbon reduction and efficiency efficiency-industrial upgrading". As of the end of July this year, Yueqing City has completed the evaluation of the carbon footprint of 48 enterprises 'products, providing Yueqing experience for the evaluation of the "carbon footprint" of the province's products.

Industrial low-carbon transformation

In recent years, the electrical industry chain has extended to both upstream and downstream ends, superimposing photovoltaic, wind energy, energy storage, hydrogen energy, charging piles, new energy vehicles, smart grids and other industries.

In terms of industrial green and low-carbon transformation, Yueqing focuses on the three-pronged efforts of "industry end-manufacturing end-product end" to further extend and strengthen the chain, supplement and stabilize the chain, and create two 100 billion-level industrial clusters of "power and electricity" and "new energy"., forming a new path for "full-chain" low-carbon transformation and forging new advantages in green and low-carbon competition. The China Saibao (Southeast) Laboratory and the Yandangshan Electric Research Institute of Xi'an Jiaotong University have been built to make up for the shortcomings of scientific and technological innovation in low-carbon fields such as new energy, power and electricity.

Green and low-carbon manufacturing is the foundation for high-quality industrial development. At present, Yueqing City has established a "county-city-provincial-national" four-level green factory cultivation ladder, leading the province to carry out county-level green factory evaluation, and more than 200 companies have entered the green factory cultivation bank.

On the basis of creating a green factory, Yueqing pioneered the "near-zero carbon factory" evaluation system in Zhejiang Province. It started from 14 aspects including energy consumption, products, energy utilization, and carbon offset, and carried out comprehensive evaluation on the green transformation and low-carbon development of enterprises. A total of 20 "near-zero carbon factories" have been created.

Yueqing has also actively cultivated a number of green supply chain enterprises. Four companies have been awarded national-level green supply chains, participated in the preparation of more than 100 green design product standards, and promoted the green transformation of more than 2000 enterprises upstream and downstream supply chains in power, electrical, electronic information and other industries.

Data shows that in the first half of this year, Yueqing's industrial added value increased by 17.4% year-on-year, while the energy consumption of industrial added value above designated size dropped by 1.3%. Between the rise and fall, the beautiful lines of Yueqing's industrial growth are outlined.

Photovoltaic power generation starts with wind and water

Yueqing City Wuji Electric Co., Ltd. is a company engaged in the sales of electrical equipment. The person in charge of the company praised the use of photovoltaic power generation for 3 years.

In recent years, in order to accelerate the development of distributed photovoltaic power generation, give full play to the role of new energy in energy supply security, and ensure the realization of the strategic goals of "carbon neutrality" and "carbon peak" as scheduled, Yueqing City Electric Power Industry Co., Ltd. has accelerated the promotion of "Photovoltaic +" Comprehensive utilization, create benefits in the third space, help enterprises build "green photovoltaics", and "add gold to the top" for enterprises.

As of the end of July, Yueqing City has completed more than 10,000 distributed photovoltaic power generation projects connected to the grid, with a grid-connected installed capacity of more than 469 MW, ranking first in Wenzhou in distributed photovoltaic grid-connected capacity. Among them, more than 1120 new grids will be connected to the grid in 2024, with a grid-connected installed capacity of more than 76 megawatts. It can achieve an annual power generation capacity of more than 76 million kWh, and can save 20,000 standard coal throughout the year. More than 10,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions are reduced.

On the beach and sea surface, the endless photovoltaic array is spectacular. Not long ago, the Hengtai 550-megawatt fishery and light complementary power generation project in Yueqing City was successfully integrated into the State Grid. The project will be combined with the Wenzhou Yueqing Bay Shared Energy Storage Power Station that was just put into operation not long ago, taking the lead in forming a "fishery, light and storage integration" power generation project application scenario.

The Hengtai 550MW Fishery and Light Complementary Power Generation Project is one of the "Thousands of Trillions" projects in Zhejiang Province. The first phase of the project is put into operation this time, with a total investment of more than 1.4 billion yuan, a capacity of 270 MW, and occupies an area of about 2900 acres. The project has installed nearly 500,000 monocrystalline silicon double-sided photovoltaic modules. The project combines fishery farming and photovoltaic power generation to achieve "power generation at the top and fish farming at the bottom", making intensive use of the sea a reality.

It is reported that after the photovoltaic project is connected to the grid for power generation, the average annual power generation will reach more than 300 million kilowatt-hours, which can meet the annual electricity demand of more than 80,000 residents. Compared with thermal power with the same power generation capacity, it can save the country more than 90,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 260,000 tons every year.

According to Yan Xiwen, deputy general manager of Hengtai's 550-MW Fishery and Light Complementary Power Generation Project, the project has improved the development and utilization of the original water surface resources and can provide more than 1000 fishery and culture-related jobs, creating an additional contribution for each mu of tidal flats every year. With a fishery output value of about 3000 yuan, power generation tax revenue can reach 58.5 million yuan, achieving "both fishery production and energy conservation and emission reduction, and has important implications for the comprehensive development of sea use in tidal flat areas, environmental protection, farmers 'employment, Tourism and sightseeing will play an active role in promoting it and have good social and economic benefits.
