At the issuance ceremony of the first zero-carbon energy consumption certificate in China, Zheng Zhaohui, vice president of China Industrial Development Promotion Association and president of the Biomass Energy Industry Branch, issued a zero-carbon energy consumption certificate to Henan Hydrogen Energy Co., Ltd., completing the "Zero Carbon Energy Certificate Voluntary Certification Platform" closed loop from the entire process of certificate application, monitoring, verification, issuance, subscription, trading and consumption. This marks that my country's green value of non-electric renewable energy represented by biomass non-electric utilization is moving towards marketization, and is a milestone in the development of the renewable energy non-electric utilization industry.

It is reported that the zero-carbon energy certificate market price is benchmarked against the carbon market, using the carbon market price as the benchmark, and at the same time, combining the market supply relationship, a relatively stable market dynamic price adjustment mechanism has been established.

At present, the price of zero-carbon energy certificates is 60 yuan per piece. In the future, certificates will maintain a relatively stable and reasonable price curve.

Our reporter learned that the certification platform has developed under the guidance and supervision of the government, adhered to the bottom line of laws and regulations, integrated certification rules with the international green certification system, diversified and expanded certificate application scenarios, and comprehensively guaranteed the sustainable operation and development of the platform.

Shi Yubo, chairman of the China Energy Research Association, said that the certification platform provides strong support for the realization of green value of non-electric use of renewable energy. Through the certification platform, the green energy production volume of renewable energy non-electricity utilization projects can be accurately accounted and certified, zero-carbon energy certificates can be issued, and project owners can be provided with ways to realize green value. At the same time, zero-carbon energy certificates can be used as an important means for companies to fulfill their social responsibilities and enhance their brand image, and promote the market-oriented development of non-electricity utilization of renewable energy.

Yu Tong, president of China Industrial Development Promotion Association, pointed out that the construction of the certification platform provides authoritative certification for the production and consumption of non-electric utilization of renewable energy such as biomass energy through a scientific, fair and transparent certification mechanism, and fully explores the potential green environmental value of renewable energy, effectively promotes the market-oriented trading and widespread application of non-electric renewable energy products. According to Liu Hongrong, president of the organizer Beijing Songshan Low-Carbon Technology Research Institute, currently, the certification platform has been connected to a total of 42 biomass heating projects and bio-natural gas projects, monitoring more than 60,000 tons of green steam and bio-natural gas per day. Over 72,000 cubic meters, covering 13 provinces, cities and autonomous regions. At present, the entire process of the certification platform has achieved a closed loop, and the green value of renewable energy has been realized at the production and consumption ends. The certification platform pioneered the establishment of a green certification and trading mechanism for non-electric renewable energy, improved the non-electric renewable energy data statistical system, laid a solid foundation for the externalization of environmental benefits of non-electric renewable energy, and effectively promoted the promotion and application of non-electric renewable energy to provide relevant companies with new options for carbon emission reduction.
