Create a "regenerated" green island with unified disposal

In recent years, Anji has explored the construction of an activated carbon public service system for exhaust gas treatment that is "led by local governments, operated in a market-oriented manner, and served small, medium and micro enterprises", forming a full-process closed-loop service of "collection-transportation-disposal-regeneration". In the past year since the first phase of the activated carbon regeneration center project built by Zhejiang Yuesheng Environmental Technology Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "Yuesheng Company") was in operation, 610 gas-related companies in the county have signed up to settle in.
"One of the main costs of treating VOCs is consumables. To achieve the ideal exhaust gas treatment effect, activated carbon must be replaced every two to three months after use. By creating the 'Green Island' project, renewable consumables can be extended, and the cost advantage is very obvious." Min Jiong, chief engineer of the company, said that not only does the company sign a contract with the company effectively guarantee the quality of activated carbon, but the company also provides free services for the company's activated carbon replacement and disassembly, hazardous waste storage, platform application, hazardous waste transfer, etc., so that the company In the closed-loop integrated operation and maintenance, all links have been standardized, reducing the risk of environmental protection violations of the company.
The reporter came to the company's second-phase activated carbon recycling project factory located in Anshan Building Materials Industrial Park, Anji, and saw a lively construction scene. The second phase of the project has completed a project investment of 132 million yuan and built 9 regeneration and activation production lines for honeycomb carbon, granular carbon, and powdered carbon. After all production lines are fully put into operation, the total treatment capacity of waste activated carbon is expected to reach 42000 tons/year, and various activated carbon products such as recycled honeycomb carbon and granular carbon will exceed 12000 tons/year, reducing carbon emissions by about 714,000 tons/year. It can save VOCs treatment costs for production and waste enterprises by more than 140 million yuan.
"The second phase production line adopts a new 'waste activated carbon high-temperature regeneration and activation process', and the recovery rate of the iodine value of the activated carbon can reach more than 100%. This process can also comprehensively utilize all the desorbed organic waste gas, saving a large amount of natural gas, equipment corrosion protection is also done in place, and the continuous production capacity of the equipment is strengthened." Create a "digital smart" green island that reduces costs and increases efficiency
What should I do if the activated carbon is not replaced in time, which affects the efficiency of exhaust gas treatment? In Anji, a digital supervision platform has given the carbon box the "eye for double supervision".

The reporter learned that there are a total of 1223 gas-related enterprises in Anji County, and currently there are more than 700 activated carbon enterprises. The "Carbon Box Code" system identifies 618 activated carbon enterprises and 610 companies have signed contracts with Yuesheng Company. Create a precise and coordinated regulatory "green island"
"The exhaust gas adsorption efficiency of high-quality activated carbon is at least 4 times that of low-quality activated carbon, which greatly improves pollution control efficiency. The reporter learned that the quality of activated carbon can affect the treatment effect of pollution prevention facilities, and the iodine value is an important indicator to measure the adsorption capacity of activated carbon. When used for VOCs treatment, the iodine value of granular carbon must not be less than 800mg/g, and the iodine value of honeycomb carbon must not be less than 650mg/g. However, the quality of activated carbon used by industrial enterprises to control exhaust gas is uneven, and there are phenomena of "wrong goods" and "shoddy goods are replaced".
Recently, the Anji Branch of the Huzhou City Ecological Environment Bureau launched an "unpacking" inspection operation for activated carbon enterprises to promote the improvement of the quality and efficiency of activated carbon and help enterprises develop green and high-quality. Inspectors carefully checked the company's environmental impact assessment procedures, exhaust gas testing reports, activated carbon replacement records and other ledger data, opened the activated carbon boxes of the exhaust gas treatment facilities one by one, and conducted detailed inspections on the status, design rationality, filling volume and other aspects of the activated carbon in the carbon boxes. When problems such as insufficient filling volume and untimely replacement are found, the enterprise is urged to make changes on site.
"In order to grasp the main responsibilities of each link, seven law enforcement squadrons comprehensively inspected the ledger data to find out the bottom line of gas-related enterprises. At the same time, compared with the six major standards for activated carbon use, a total of 11 'unpacking' inspection operations were carried out, inspecting 496 enterprises., forming a multi-level supervision system of 'gas science guidance, brigade coordination, squadron inspection, and township contract contraction'." Since the operation of the Anji Waste Gas Treatment Activated Carbon Public Service System, 610 gas-related enterprises in the county have increased the efficiency of waste gas treatment in treatment facilities by 35% through measures such as "unpacking carbon inspection" and "green island" replacement. In 2024, 129 new contracted companies will be signed, with a cumulative carbon replacement volume reaching 713.403 tons.
