Nansha Development Zone is located in Nansha District, Guangzhou City, located in the geometric center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is a new carrier of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao cooperation and a hub port for the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. Nansha Development Zone has continued to promote the construction of a green and low-carbon cycle ecological industrial model for many years. In 2022, it was awarded the title of "Ecological Civilization Construction Demonstration Zone (Ecological Industrial Park)". In 2023, it will rank among 230 national-level economic development zones across the country. The ranking jumped to seventh place. Establish a refined management system for ecological and environmental zoning management and control, and explore the integration of carbon emission evaluation into the environmental impact assessment of regional planning and construction projects. The "Plan" also clarifies six guarantee mechanisms: strengthening organizational leadership, strengthening policy support, strengthening technical support, strengthening financial support, establishing evaluation mechanisms, and strengthening summary and promotion, strengthening overall leadership, coordinated promotion and supervision of the implementation of pilot work, and promoting various pilot work.
