It is of great significance.
The power station is the "heart" of offshore platforms. It usually provides electricity from self-produced oil and gas combustion. During the process, a large amount of high-temperature smoke is emitted and is the main source of carbon emissions for offshore oil and gas development. How to reduce high-temperature smoke emissions has become a problem that plagues green production on offshore oil and gas platforms. To this end, CNOOC Engineering has created a "magic weapon" to subdue it.
The waste heat power generation device uses the high-temperature flue gas waste heat generated by the operation of the power station as the circulating organic medium in the heat source device to promote the expansion machine to generate electricity.
Waste heat energy can be directly transformed into clean electrical energy. After application, this power generation device will realize the comprehensive utilization of flue gas waste heat from the main power station in offshore oil and gas fields. The comprehensive energy efficiency of the main power station is expected to increase by 7%, effectively saving crude oil and natural gas consumption in oil and gas fields. This device will be used in the Wenchang 9-7 Oilfield Development Project in the future. It is estimated that the annual power generation capacity after the device is put into use can reach 40 million kilowatt hours.
After 20 years of operation, it can save about 300 million cubic meters of natural gas consumption.
Previously, at home and abroad in the field of offshore high-temperature flue gas waste heat power generation applications. There is no precedent for the joint external design and manufacturing team of CNOOC Research Institute, Zhanjiang Branch, and CNOOC Engineering. Jointly promote the formation of independent technical service capabilities for the entire chain of equipment development, skid manufacturing, testing and testing, and create an independent and controllable equipment system.
This technology can be widely applied to my country's offshore oil and gas platforms, promoting the goals of energy conservation, emission reduction, cost reduction and efficiency improvement in offshore oil and gas fields during the development process, and injecting new momentum into the green and low-carbon development of the offshore oil industry.
