Password 1: Industrial upgrading

As a "green pharmaceutical capital", Linhai has a long history in the medical and chemical industry. From the Shuiyang Chemical Industry Zone in the early 90s of the last century to the establishment of the coastal chemical industry park at the end of the 90s of the last century, until August 2001, with the approval of the former State Planning Commission and the Economic and Trade Commission, the Linhai Medical and Chemical Park was officially established.

Zhejiang Yongtai New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. introduced the "Yongtai New Energy Materials Industrial Park Project", with a total investment of more than 10 billion yuan, which will build a one-stop supply base for lithium battery materials around new energy materials and add new vitality and new momentum to Taizhou's economic development.

Hisun Group Hichuangda Biomaterials Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 150,000 tons of polylactic acid project, and the construction is accelerating. The total investment of the project is about 1.3 billion yuan, and the annual output value is expected to be about 3.45 billion yuan after reaching production, which can promote the iterative renewal of the degradable biomaterials industry.

Zhejiang Shaxing Bohai Technology Co., Ltd. with an annual output of 1,600 tons of cyclopropylamine and other APIs project is also about to be completed, which will have an annual production capacity of 1,600 tons of cyclopropylamine, 300 tons of cyclopropylcarboxylic acid and other APIs and intermediates, and can achieve an annual output value of 2.7 billion yuan after reaching production.

At present, the application scenarios of the industrial Internet are constantly enriched, and digitalization has become an inevitable choice to promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. In recent years, Linhai City has focused on the digital transformation of enterprises and the integration of industrial chain resources, and built the core architecture of "industrial brain + future factory" to help enterprises invest in the wave of digital transformation.

In May 2022, the "Chemical API Industry Brain" platform was launched, and the enterprise side mainly includes three major sectors: new intelligent manufacturing applications, common technologies and industrial ecology. Among them, the new intelligent manufacturing application sector is based on solving the digital divide of enterprises, creating applications such as inspection management, energy management, laboratory information management, and equipment management, and providing platform-based solutions in terms of safety and environmental protection.

In medical and chemical enterprises, safety is the lifeline. All kinds of reactors, pressure storage tanks, valves and other equipment have a certain service life, and if they are overused, the aging of the equipment will bury potential safety hazards, so equipment management is very critical. How to reduce pollution and carbon emissions more effectively? The Management Committee of Taizhou Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone has implemented scientific and precise policies, increased project planning, and made every effort to promote the battle of environmental protection through a series of effective measures. Last year, four projects, namely the pollution reduction and carbon reduction project of Huahai Pharmaceutical South Sichuan Branch, the key technology of green synthesis of statins of Hongyuan Pharmaceutical, the carbon dioxide recovery and purification project of Haichang Gas, and the pollution and carbon reduction project of Tianyu Pharmaceutical, were selected as provincial pollution reduction and carbon reduction benchmarks.

"Through nine measures, including solvent recovery, workshop equipment, freezing transformation, solid waste recycling, and lean management, we have comprehensively promoted the synergy of pollution reduction and carbon reduction of enterprises. Zhang Rongwei, director of safety and environmental protection of Huahai Pharmaceutical South Sichuan Branch, introduced that since 2020, the company has gradually implemented the implementation project of synergy in pollution reduction and carbon reduction, and the carbon emission per unit of output value has decreased from 0.93 tons/10,000 yuan in 2020 to 0.54 tons/10,000 yuan in 2022, a decrease of 41%.

Taking the company's solvent recovery workshop overall upgrading project as an example, the project carries out the overall transformation of the solvent recovery workshop, and sets up 36 distillation towers, 2 sets of inorganic permeation vaporization membranes, and 2 sets of double-effect distillation towers in the F01 and F02 solvent recovery workshops, involving the recovery of more than 10 kinds of various solvents, which can achieve economic benefits of 1.91 million yuan per year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 2,143 tons.

In order to reduce the risk of environmental pollution and consider the comprehensive utilization of waste salt, Huahai Pharmaceutical South Sichuan Branch built a new sodium bromide combined product production line in the W16 workshop, and the bromine-containing wastewater in the workshop was collected and treated separately at the front end, and the sodium bromide in the wastewater was recovered through the treatment processes such as scraper concentration, refining extraction, and drying, so as to achieve an annual output of 500 tons of sodium bromide products and an economic benefit of 13 million yuan per year. At the same time, through the improvement of equipment, the generation and dissipation of unorganized waste gas in the process of wastewater treatment are greatly improved.

In Zhejiang Haichang Gas Co., Ltd., the reporter learned that the company's annual output of 30,000 tons of carbon dioxide recovery and purification liquefaction benchmark project through the independent research and development of "variable temperature adsorption + VPSA low-pressure pressure swing adsorption + catalytic oxidation + low temperature distillation" technology, recovery of natural gas hydrogen production and methanol hydrogen production emissions CO_2. The energy consumption of this technology is about 50% lower than that of conventional pressure swing adsorption CO_2 recovery technology, the recovery rate reaches 95%, and the annual recovery CO_2 is about 30,000 tons, increasing the income by 4.5 million yuan per year.

While planning the project, promote the standardization of project management. To this end, the Taizhou Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone has issued the "Measures for the Management of Synergy in Pollution Reduction and Carbon Reduction in Medical and Chemical Parks", established an enterprise pollutant emission inventory and carbon emission inventory, and piloted the access standard for carbon intensity per unit of industrial added value of new reconstruction and expansion projects in 2023, so as to strengthen the evaluation of the effect of pollution reduction and carbon reduction of construction projects.

At the same time, the "Technical Guide for Pollution Reduction and Carbon Reduction in the Pharmaceutical and Chemical Industry" was compiled to sort out the path of pollution reduction and carbon reduction in the whole chain of the medical and chemical industry, and summarize the experience, practices and typical cases of the medical and chemical industry in the aspects of workshop demolition and reconstruction, equipment level improvement, green synthesis process application, waste resource utilization, etc., so as to provide important reference and reference for the pharmaceutical and chemical industry to carry out pollution reduction and carbon reduction construction.
