In April, the average number of days with good air quality in 339 cities at and above the prefecture level was 89.8 percent, up 8.7 percentage points year-on-year, the average number of days with severe pollution and above was 1.2 percent, down 3.5 percentage points year-on-year, and the average number of days exceeding the standard caused by sand and dust weather was 4.4 percent, of which 1.1 percent were heavily polluted.>>> more to read here
In the second half of May, affected by high temperatures in the early stage, the air quality in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and surrounding areas, the northern part of the Yangtze River Delta region, the northeast region, the Fenwei Plain and most of the northwest region was mainly good to slightly polluted.
