How to build a strong defense line for carbon emission data quality? Listen to the suggestions of Heilongjiang environmental scientific research experts

From July 16 to 17, the Heilongjiang Province Environmental Sciences Research Institute formed a team of four experts to go to Daxing’anling Prefecture to provide full-coverage carbon emission data quality supervision and assistance to three key emission units in the power generation industry within its jurisdiction.

In Daxinganling Energy Development Co., Ltd., Tahe County Chenghui Thermal Power Co., Ltd. and Heilongjiang Province Xinma Thermal Power Group Co., Ltd., the expert group provided assistance through discussions and exchanges, policy publicity and implementation, and consulted written materials. Focusing on key links such as coal sample collection and preparation, coal quality testing, and coal sample retention, they consulted relevant original records, and went deep into the production line to inspect the experimental sites of "mining, production, transformation and storage" and instruments and equipment.

In response to the shortcomings and loopholes of enterprises in carbon emission management, the expert group communicated and feedback with enterprises, requiring enterprises to make changes and provide improvement suggestions to effectively improve the level of carbon emission management.

The expert group recommends that companies can combine their own characteristics and revitalize carbon assets through optimized management, minimize performance costs and pressures, and achieve the preservation and appreciation of carbon assets.

Yao Chunsheng, deputy director of the Ecological Environment Bureau of Daxing’anling Prefecture, said that this assistance action will be used as an opportunity to further strengthen the daily supervision of corporate carbon emission data, rectify and improve problems found in supervision and assistance, and continue to optimize the quality management mechanism to ensure the standardization and standardization of carbon emission data quality management. At the same time, we urge key emission units for power generation to complete the payment of carbon trading quotas on time.
