Recently, China Building Energy Conservation Association held the first batch of zero-carbon building project launch conferences and zero-carbon building technology forums in 2024 in Beijing. At the forum, the Innovation Center of the Yangtze River Delta (Kunshan) International Low-Carbon Industrial Park Pilot Area ("Carbon 12 Workshop") became one of the first batch of 16 zero-carbon building projects in the country to pass the evaluation. It is also the only (renovation category) in the Yangtze River Delta region that has obtained zero-carbon building design pre-evaluation certification.
The zero-carbon building design identification certificate is issued by China Building Energy Conservation Association and has undergone professional evaluation by China Academy of Building Science. Obtaining this certificate indicates that the project's practice in the "double carbon" strategy has been officially recognized by the construction industry.
The reporter learned that the "Carbon 12 Workshop" Innovation Center is an important part of the Yangtze River Delta (Kunshan) International Low-Carbon Industry Innovation Park. It is located in Zhoushi Town, Kunshan, with a planned space of 20.5 square kilometers. It is based on building China's low-carbon development international cooperation pioneer zone, a new highland for green and low-carbon industry development in the Yangtze River Delta, and a (near) zero-carbon park high-quality construction demonstration zone, aiming at three directions: new energy conservation, environmental protection, and low-carbon services.
In recent years, Kunshan City has made precise efforts through a series of measures such as planning guidance, closed supervision, demonstration drive, publicity and education to continue to promote the green and low-carbon transformation and development of urban and rural construction, and achieved remarkable results in green building work. At present, Kunshan City has built a total of 43.36 million square meters of green buildings and obtained 310 green building identification projects (including 22 three-star projects and 145 two-star projects).
The "Carbon 12 Square" Innovation Center is an existing large-scale public construction project with a construction area of 36,000 square meters. Its main functions are new energy, energy conservation, environmental protection and low-carbon service products and technology display, industrial office, conferences, etc. The construction of this project has entered the final stage. The Yangtze River Delta (Kunshan) International Low-Carbon Industry Innovation Park is scheduled to open in December this year.
It is reported that the Innovation Center project integrates the application of 12 low-carbon technologies such as multiple optoelectronic and thermal technologies, DC microgrids and integrated energy storage technology, hydrogen fuel cell electro-heat cogeneration technology, climate adaptive envelope structures and innovative energy-saving curtain walls. Combined with the zero-carbon building intelligent operation and maintenance management platform, the design indicators of zero carbon emissions in the operation and maintenance stage and the design goals of flexible adjustment of source, network, load and storage. Through the intelligent operation and maintenance management platform, operating data can not only be presented in real time, It also ensures that the system operates in a continuously efficient and low-carbon state.
In the next step, Kunshan City will continue to adhere to the concept of green development, take the "double carbon" goal as the guide, further promote the development of green buildings, and continuously improve the construction field through policy guidance, financial support, technological innovation and demonstration drive. Green development level.
