The reporter learned from China General Nuclear Power Group (hereinafter referred to as CGNPC) that the country's first all-green power supply virtual power plant project was officially put into operation on July 18 in Ningbo Dongfang Cable Park, Zhejiang Province, realizing traceable all-green power supply in the industrial park. Through photovoltaic, energy storage, charging piles, industrial loads coordinated operation, as well as real-time economic intelligent switching with multiple power sources.

It is reported that this project is the first virtual power plant project for traceability green electricity supply in China. Relying on the CGNPC virtual power plant demonstration platform, the project has built an integrated management model for distributed resources of multiple sources, loads, storage and charging, realizing traceable green power supply 24 hours a day and providing users with clean and reliable power services.

A 12.012 MW distributed photovoltaic system will be built in the park, equipped with a 5 MW/11.2 MWh energy storage system, as well as two 120-kilowatt dual-gun DC distributed charging piles and 10 14-kilowatt dual-gun AC charging piles. By integrating flexible resources such as photovoltaics, energy storage, and charging piles, 80% of the park's daily electricity needs can be solved, and the remaining 20% of the electricity shortage can be supplemented by purchasing green electricity from CGNPC's Zhejiang Tuci Offshore Wind Farm.

While efficiently utilizing power resources, the CGN Virtual Power Plant Demonstration Platform can accurately monitor and analyze the park's all-day electricity consumption, power generation, energy storage and green power supply ratio, and conduct intelligent switching management on various power supplies with reference to real-time electricity prices and other information., providing clear and transparent energy use information and significantly improving project economics.

Cheng Hexiang, deputy chief engineer of China General Nuclear Power New Energy Holdings Co., Ltd., said that the project is based on energy Internet technology and breaks the limitations of traditional power plant operation models and productivity development paths. It is a new business model such as electricity carbon trading and user-side energy management services. Active exploration. Based on the successful experience of this project, CGNPC will replicate and promote the all-green power virtual power plant model nationwide, especially in areas rich in green power energy and in large demand, and promote the efficient use and sustainable development of green energy in more regions.
