Jiangxi Yushan Wannianqing Cement Co., Ltd. invested 698 million yuan to carry out flue gas desulfurization technical transformation on two clinker production lines. Using gypsum wet desulfurization technology, the highest desulfurization rate reaches 98%, and various pollutant indicators stably meet the emission standards stipulated by the state. All low-grade limestone resources in the Kuangqu have been comprehensively utilized. Jiangxi Yushan Nanfang Cement Co., Ltd. invested 2.01 billion yuan to launch 8 solid waste technical transformation projects, including cement integration and upgrading projects, digital green Kuangqu construction, and cement kiln collaborative disposal of solid waste. The annual disposal of solid waste is 1.6 million tons, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 1.36 million tons, saving 4000 tons of standard coal, and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 18,000 tons.
Focus on project construction and seek benefits from advanced technologies. Since 2022, eight leading solid waste utilization enterprises have invested 1.28 billion yuan in the research and development of comprehensive solid waste utilization equipment technology and the recycling of recycled mineral resources to improve resource utilization, alleviate the contradiction between resource supply and demand, and use coal gangue and tailings annually. More than 2 million tons of construction waste such as slag and fly ash, with a utilization rate of more than 90%. Yushan Huicheng Building Materials Co., Ltd. uses urban sludge to build a new production line with an annual output of 60 million rock leaf bricks, processing 9800 tons of urban sludge annually, and utilizing solid waste to reduce carbon emissions by 18,000 tons.
The experience in creating a "waste-free Kuangqu" has enabled Yushan to embark on a new path of green development and lead the construction concept of "waste-free city" in Yushan.
