Sinochem News from Henan Oilfield that as of September 19, the cumulative production of green electricity by Henan Oilfield's new energy projects exceeded 104 million kilowatt-hours and reduced carbon dioxide emissions by 59,300 tons.
It is understood that the annual peak sunshine hours of Henan Oilfield are about 1367 hours, and the total annual effective wind energy hours are about 2200 hours. Solar energy and wind energy resources are abundant. In recent years, Henan Oilfield has made full use of vacant sites, stations, and roofs of the oilfield to accelerate the construction of new energy projects such as photovoltaics and wind energy. It has built 44 photovoltaic power stations with a total installed capacity of 24.4 MW and 3 units with a total installed capacity of 10.8 MW. The wind power station has effectively increased the utilization rate of clean energy in the oilfield.
Since the beginning of this year, Henan Oilfield has made full use of idle stations in the oilfield, given full play to the consumption capacity of the oilfield power grid, and increased the development of new energy. They continue to carry out inspections and surveys of idle sites and abandoned well sites, and plan and layout new energy construction; track and analyze the construction costs, operating costs, and prices of major materials (equipment) of new energy projects in real time to reduce the cost of new energy projects; Increase technical research efforts, improve the controllability of wind and photovoltaic power generation, and strive to build a safe, economical and clean new power integrated management, control and dispatch system.
While accelerating the construction of new energy projects, Henan Oilfield is also guided by promoting the rapid increase in the installed scale of green electricity, and organizes technical personnel to re-demonstrate and analyze the installed capacity of new energy and load consumption capabilities of the oilfield power grid. In July, the Henan Province Development and Reform Commission officially approved the first source, network, load and storage integration project in the oilfield. The second source, network, load and storage integration project is under deployment and demonstration. At the same time, they insist on accelerating the advancement of new energy as an important innovation-efficiency industry in oil fields. Through data collection and statistics on the power generation efficiency and power generation efficiency of wind power and photovoltaic projects that have been completed and put into operation, they conduct re-demonstration and analysis on the installed capacity, load consumption capacity, etc., and increase the initial installed capacity of Henan Oilfield's new energy of 61.3 MW to more than 140 MW at the end of the 15th Five-Year Plan.
It is also learned that the preliminary work of the second phase of wind power in Henan Oilfield is being demonstrated and construction is expected to begin in January 2025.
