Recently, the Hengtai 550-megawatt fishery and light complementary power generation project located in Yueqing City, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province was successfully integrated into the State Grid. The project will be strongly integrated with the Wenzhou Yueqing Bay Shared Energy Storage Power Station that was put into operation at the end of June this year, taking the lead in forming an application scenario for a "fishery, light and storage integration" power generation project in the province. During the critical period of ensuring power supply during the peak summer, this application scenario has shown great potential and value-added benefits in terms of energy consumption, power grid scheduling, etc.

In recent years, Wenzhou has vigorously developed new energy industries and actively promoted the construction of "complementary fishing and light" photovoltaic power stations. The Hengtai 550MW Fishery and Light Complementary Power Generation Project is one of the "Thousands of Trillions" projects in Zhejiang Province. The first phase of the project is put into operation this time, with a total investment of 1.467 billion yuan, a capacity of 270 MW, and an area of approximately 2918 acres of sea area. The project has installed nearly 500,000 monocrystalline silicon double-sided photovoltaic modules. The project combines fishery farming and photovoltaic power generation to achieve "power generation at the top and fish farming at the bottom", making intensive use of the sea a reality.

According to reports, after the photovoltaic project is connected to the grid for power generation, the average annual power generation capacity can reach 320 million kilowatt hours, meeting the annual electricity demand of more than 80,000 residents. Compared with thermal power with the same power generation capacity, it can save the country 98,200 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 269,800 tons every year. In addition, the project provides new opportunities for local fishermen, providing more than 1000 fishery breeding positions, creating an additional fishery output value of about 3000 yuan per mu of tidal flats every year, and a total of 58.5 million yuan in power generation tax revenue, achieving fishery production and energy conservation and emission reduction."Make no mistake".
