Yongjia established Zhejiang's first low-carbon public welfare alliance for environmental protection enterprises

On May 15, the Yongjia Branch of Wenzhou Ecological Environment Bureau of Zhejiang Province and the Yongjia County Green Environmental Protection Volunteer Association held a signing ceremony to commemorate the National Low Carbon Day and the establishment of a low-carbon public welfare alliance of environmental protection enterprises. The first batch of alliance members composed of environmental protection enterprises signed the treaty and issued the "Joint Declaration on Low-carbon Public Welfare Action". It is reported that this is the first low-carbon public welfare alliance composed of environmental protection enterprises in Zhejiang.

In order to better help the construction of a "zero-waste city", spread the concept of green development, guide more enterprises to enhance their awareness of green and low-carbon development, accelerate the pace of green and low-carbon transformation, and create a good environment for the high-quality economic development of Yongjia, the Yongjia Branch of Wenzhou Ecological Environment Bureau and the Yongjia County Green Environmental Protection Volunteer Association decided to organize some environmental protection enterprises to establish a low-carbon public welfare alliance. The first batch of environmental protection enterprises include Wenzhou Lvyi Renewable Resources Co., Ltd. for construction waste recycling, Yongjia Green Power Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. for domestic waste incineration for power generation, and Zhejiang Hetai Thermal Power Co., Ltd. for heat and power generation using general industrial waste, covering all kinds of waste disposal industries, all of which are environmental protection leaders that have made a lot of contributions to reducing carbon emissions.

The signed Treaty clarifies the main functions of the Alliance, including planning and organizing various low-carbon public welfare activities, guiding and guiding the members of the Alliance to consciously realize the low-carbon transition, carrying out cooperation and exchanges with the government and all sectors of society, establishing a contact mechanism between the members of the Alliance, and achieving complementary advantages and resource sharing.

On the same day, the first batch of members of the low-carbon public welfare alliance of environmental protection enterprises also issued the "Joint Declaration on Low-carbon Public Welfare Action", calling on peer enterprises and the whole society to join hands to change the concept of development, seize development opportunities, fulfill their responsibilities, and continue to make due contributions to the construction of ecological civilization and green and low-carbon development.
