The national carbon emissions trading market has ushered in a landmark moment.

On September 2, the National Greenhouse Gas Voluntary Emission Reduction Registration System and Information Platform posted online publicity on the first batch of 26 China Certified Voluntary Emission Reduction (CCER) projects.

According to statistics, these 26 projects cover 17 energy industry (renewable/non-renewable resources) projects, 9 forestry and other carbon sink type projects, covering all 4 categories released in the first batch of methodological releases, specifically 7 afforestation projects, 2 mangroves, 1 light and heat, and 16 offshore wind power projects.

According to public information, the annual emission reduction of 26 projects is approximately 7.3 million tons, of which sea breeze projects account for 7 million tons. If calculated based on the first monitoring period of three years, if all projects are issued, nearly 22 million tons of CCER will be generated.
