Nangang Industrial Zone of Tianjin Economic Development Zone accelerates the development of green industries
On October 10, it was learned from Nangang Industrial Zone of Tianjin Economic Development Zone that Nangang Industrial Zone of Tianjin Economic Development Zone, as a professional chemical park, combined with its characteristics of high energy consumption and high carbon emission intensity, conscientiously implemented the Tianjin Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government's proposal to build a world-class green chemical new materials, combined with the industrial characteristics of the park, actively planned and knowledgeable to reduce enterprise energy costs and carbon emission levels.
According to reports, Nangang Industrial Zone of Tianjin Economic Development Zone regularly organizes green electricity trading salons in the park, and regularly invites relevant leaders of Tianjin City Electric Power Trading Center and Tianjin TEDA Low Carbon Center to introduce green electricity policy trends and trading rules. At the same time, by establishing a resource plate for green electricity trading companies, companies can provide bidding options and find suitable green electricity trading partners in the market. In 2024, the industrial park is expected to have a total of about 400 million kWh of green electricity transactions, accounting for about 7% of the total green electricity transactions in Tianjin City. At the same time, it is working with the Tianjin City Power Trading Center to promote pilot accounting of green electricity consumption.
Relying on abundant cold energy resources, we will build a comprehensive utilization demonstration project of Zhongsheng cold energy and create the country's first cold energy cascade utilization demonstration park. Tianjin Zhongshengtai Port New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. invested about 1 billion yuan to build a Tianjin Nangang LNG cold energy comprehensive utilization demonstration project. By 2028, the leading LNG cold energy comprehensive demonstration base in the northern region will be built.
After the project reaches production capacity, the production capacity is about 680 tons/day of liquid oxygen, about 737 tons/day of liquid nitrogen, about 28 tons/day of liquid argon, and about 20000Nm³/h of nitrogen. Annual energy saving is 17.22 million tons of standard coal, and annual carbon dioxide emission reduction is about 18,600 tons.
China's largest desalination project, the 150,000-ton desalination project of Xianda South Port, is a commercial cooperation project between China and Malaysia. Currently, four production lines have been officially put into operation. Tianjin Nangang Industrial Zone will become the first chemical park to use seawater desalination as its main source of water. At the same time, Tianjin Nangang Seawater Desalination Project strives to build a green zero-carbon desalination plant and promote the development of low-carbon cycles through a distributed photovoltaic + green electricity trading model. At the same time, the concentrated salt water produced by seawater desalination is planned to be transported to Bohua Haijing Salt Field for bromine extraction and downstream salt chemical industry, forming a circular economy industrial chain of "seawater desalination-bromine extraction-green electricity-salt chemical industry".
At the same time, for the waste heat generated by chemical industry projects, condensed water and concentrated salt water generated during the desalination water manufacturing process, the park took the lead in jointly studying and building a circulation system with Huadian Thermal Power Plant and Xianda Seawater Desalination Plant to form a water-heat linkage and reduce enterprise operations and desalination water production costs.
Tianjin is the birthplace of China's chemical industry.
