"Hydrogen" was installed, the first in Zhejiang, and the Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Hydrogen Refueling Station was approved for external operation

A few days ago, the hydrogen refueling station of Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Branch of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation obtained the first gas business license for automobile hydrogen refueling station in Zhejiang Province, becoming the first automobile hydrogen refueling station in the province to operate externally.

With an investment of about 57 million yuan and an area of about 19 acres, the Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Hydrogen Refueling Station project was completed in June 2021 with a hydrogen refueling capacity of 500 kg/12 hours. According to preliminary estimates, the hydrogen refueling station can reduce carbon emissions by 2,000 tons per year when operating at full capacity, which is equivalent to planting more than 100,000 trees per year based on the calculation that a tree can absorb 18.3 kg of carbon dioxide a year.

In addition, the hydrogen refueling station is currently promoting the adaptive transformation of hydrogen refueling capacity, and will have a hydrogen refueling capacity of 2,500 kg/12 hours when completed, becoming the largest hydrogen source supply center in Zhejiang Province.

In the next step, Zhenhai District of Ningbo City will rely on the advantages of the local green petrochemical industry, actively respond to the national "double carbon" strategy, accelerate the layout of the hydrogen energy supply chain, use the petrochemical by-product high-purity "blue hydrogen" for the use of hydrogen energy buses, implement carbon capture and resource utilization of hydrogen purification tail gas, and use photovoltaic "green electricity" for hydrogen transportation and hydrogen refueling, so as to truly form a "zero-carbon" industrial chain.
