Sinochem New Network News Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation and the National Standardization Administration Commission issued the national standard for carbon emission accounting of phosphoric acid and phosphate enterprises,"Greenhouse Gas Emission Accounting and Reporting Requirements Part 45: Phosphate and Phosphate Enterprises.
It is reported that this standard was formulated by Guangdong Bangpu Cycle Technology Co., Ltd. and was drafted by Yichang Bangpu Cycle Technology Co., Ltd. and other enterprises. It is my country's first national standard for carbon emission accounting for phosphoric acid and phosphate enterprises, especially suitable for iron phosphate and phosphate. The iron lithium industry provides strong support for the green and low-carbon development of related enterprises in this industry chain.
Phosphoric acid and phosphates are one of the main chemical raw materials for new energy storage and power batteries. In recent years, the new energy industry has developed rapidly, especially the large-scale installation of lithium iron phosphate batteries, which has driven a sharp increase in demand for phosphorus chemical products. However, relevant industries have always lacked organization-level greenhouse gas emission accounting standards, and enterprises lack basis for carrying out accounting work, which has restricted the transformation and upgrading of industries from extensive to green and low-carbon.
"This standard proposes and quantifies the greenhouse gas accounting method for phosphoric acid and phosphate companies, which is equivalent to giving the industry a standard formula for calculation, or a ruler." said the relevant person in charge of Bangpu Cycle.
Yichang has abundant phosphate ore resources, and the phosphoric acid and phosphate industries have strong development momentum. At present, Yichang Bangpu Full Chain Integrated Industrial Park has put into production of new energy battery material products such as iron phosphate and lithium iron phosphate cathode materials.
