On the occasion of National Ecology Day on August 15, 2024, Jishan Branch of Yuncheng City Ecological Environment Bureau actively responded to the call of the state and issued a "green and low-carbon life" initiative to the county's cadres and workers to jointly build a beautiful home, promote energy conservation and emission reduction, and achieve sustainable development.

In the proposal, cadres and workers are encouraged to implement the "135" low-carbon travel principles, advocate walking, cycling and public transportation, and reduce carbon emissions. At the same time, we call on everyone to cultivate the "Four Ones" low-carbon living habits, save water, electricity, paper and food, use environmentally friendly shopping bags, reduce the use of disposable items, classify garbage, and jointly protect the green planet.

In terms of low-carbon consumption, we encourage online shopping to reduce travel, purchase high-efficiency and energy-saving products such as lighting, air conditioners and automobiles, and take practical actions to support energy conservation and emission reduction. In terms of diet, advocate healthy eating and green living.

Low-carbon office is also the focus of the initiative, calling for paperless office, double-sided printing, turning off lights at random, turning off computers after work, and planting air-purifying plants in the office to create a green office environment.
