"Global Services, Reciprocal Sharing" From September 12 to 16, the 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services (hereinafter referred to as the Fair) was held at the National Convention Center and Shougang Park.
This year's Service Trade Fair, the fourth blast furnace, which was completely transformed into an exhibition complex, was unveiled as Hall 1 with a special exhibition on environmental services. The theme of this year's environmental service topic is "'Double Carbon Empowerment ', Glowing Innovation Power ". The exhibition area of 12,000 square meters fully demonstrates new products, new technologies, and new solutions in green and low-carbon fields around the world.
The perfect transformation of Shougang No. 4 blast furnace
In Shougang Park, the fourth blast furnace is particularly eye-catching.
Dark gray aluminum plates, pure glass curtain walls, and the slogan "Happy to work, go home safely" on the furnace body. This meritorious blast furnace still has its style. The No. 4 blast furnace was built in 1969 and makes 2 million tons of iron every year. It is Shougang's first modern large-scale blast furnace of 2000 cubic meters.

After Shougang implemented strategic relocation adjustments, the fourth blast furnace was officially shut down on January 5, 2008. After a lapse of 16 years, the fourth blast furnace, hot blast stove and main control building and other ancillary facilities were completely transformed into the exhibition complex of Shougang International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Walking into the fourth blast furnace, the blast furnace core can be seen when you look up. The original working space during production has now been fully opened up, and the fourth blast furnace has become a transparent space. The renovated blast furnace body has three floors, the first floor is an exhibition hall, the second floor is an exhibition hall and conference space, and the third floor is a multi-functional space. During the Fair, a special exhibition on environmental services will be held on the first floor of the fourth blast furnace.
In fact, the transformation of the fourth blast furnace itself is a reflection of the green and low-carbon concept. "Rainwater collected by the rainwater regulation and storage pool in the southeast corner of the Fourth Blast Furnace Exhibition Hall will be used for greening and watering to reduce the risk of waterlogging and water supply costs; the large screen on the south exterior facade adopts low power consumption and high energy efficiency display technology, and at the same time focuses on the recyclability of the large screen. Sex; the chiller unit adopts first-level energy efficiency, meeting the requirements of the 'double carbon' demonstration project." Yu Hua, design director of Beijing Shougang Construction Investment Co., Ltd., said that similar green ingenuity can be seen everywhere during the renovation process.
The special exhibition continues to deepen the theme of "double carbon"
Located at booth A001 of the Environmental Services Special Exhibition Hall is the exhibition hall of the Green New Quality Productivity Technology Cluster led by the International Green Economy Association, with an exhibition area of nearly 200 square meters.

Previously, Deng Jihai, executive president of the International Green Economy Association, said that the exhibition hall has the theme of "Green Clusters, New Quality Productivity" and implements integrated design and cluster display methods, covering air pollution control, solid waste treatment, water environment management, etc. All categories of business formats for the environmental protection industry.
The reporter saw at the scene that the cluster exhibition hall included industrial source and air source carbon capture and utilization (CCUS) carbon negative technology, industrial intelligent control and ultra-low emission technology, energy and carbon emission intelligent management AI technology products, and low-carbon scenarios in the park and community. New technologies and new production methods such as artificial intelligence applications and carbon monitoring certification.
It is understood that this year's environmental services special exhibition will continue to deepen the "double carbon" theme and set up exhibition areas such as low-carbon energy, carbon-neutral green technology, and circular economy.
In the environmental special exhibition, the "national team" led by PetroChina, Sinopec, National Energy Group Longyuan Environmental Protection, and Jingneng Group made a concentrated appearance, bringing low-carbon transformation of fossil energy, environmental protection of wind, light, hydrogen, storage and power, etc. Clean energy development projects and the latest development results of carbon capture technology.

In addition, China Inspection and Certification Group, China Construction Science and Technology, and Beijing Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Center will focus on green building, green technology, and green life themes respectively to showcase green innovative applications in their respective fields.
"Luna-1" lunar rover on display
At the 2023 Service Trade Fair, rocket models, space interactive VR equipment experience, and space return capsules in the environmental service topic were all unveiled. The aerospace science and technology interactive experience area was widely loved by the exhibitors.
This year, environmental service topics will continue to incorporate aerospace science and technology elements. The reporter saw at the scene that the model of the "Luna-1" lunar rover brought by the China Aerospace Science and Technology International Exchange Center and the Capital Aerospace Machinery Group was on display in the exhibition area.

China's manned lunar rover is an important part of China's manned lunar landing project. It is understood that the lunar rover on display is designed for lunar surface exploration. The lunar rover will greatly improve the efficiency of lunar surface activities and lay the foundation for the construction of lunar bases and deep space exploration.
"In fact, the lunar rover has also achieved innovative breakthroughs in hydrogen-oxygen fuel cell technology, which also highlights the unique role of aerospace science and technology in empowering various industries to accelerate green play." On-site staff told reporters.
