Yongxin County, Ji 'an City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the middle of the Luoxiao Mountains at the junction of Hunan and Jiangxi. Use "light" to generate gold and light up the countryside. Yongxin County has incorporated the photovoltaic industry into the medium-and long-term development plan for national economic and social development, promoted the transformation of industrial structure and energy structure, built four large-scale centralized photovoltaic power stations such as Huaneng Lianzhou, Huaneng Industrial Park and rural distributed photovoltaic power stations, and used dilapidated agricultural and forestry wasteland bare land to lay photovoltaic panels, and vigorously develop complementary industries for agriculture and light. Adopt a unified loan repayment approach to solve farmers 'financing problems, so that poor households and poor villages can enjoy the considerable benefits brought by the photovoltaic industry at zero cost.
Pumping "water" to store energy and filling valleys to peak shaving. Based on the county's total installed hydropower capacity of 56.5 MW, Yongxin County has included the Yongxin Pumped Storage Project in the key implementation project of the "14th Five-Year Plan of Jiangxi Province." The project has a total installed capacity of 1200 megawatts and a total investment of 8 billion yuan. It is the largest investment single project in the history of Yongxin County. It undertakes tasks such as peak shaving, valley filling, energy storage, frequency modulation, phase modulation and emergency backup for Jiangxi Power Grid. It is a "super charging treasure" to solve the contradiction between supply and demand between peaks and troughs of the power grid and ensure the safe operation of the power grid.
Travel against the "wind" and be safe and efficient. Yongxin County has carried out decentralized wind power projects in Shashi Town, Longyuankou Town, Gaoxi Township, Sanwan Township, and Litian Town, introduced domestic first-class enterprises such as National Energy Group Longyuan Power to build the Longyuan Ji 'an Yongxin Wind Power Project, with an annual power generation capacity of 7 million kWh and an annual tax payment of about 5 million yuan. It plays a good role in promoting the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system and optimizing and adjusting the energy structure.
Turn waste into treasure and turn harm into benefit. Yongxin County introduced Ji 'an Yongqing Biological Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. and Yongxin County Kaidi Green Energy Development Co., Ltd. to make full use of agricultural and forestry wastes such as crop straw to carry out straw feed and fuelization actions, and use straw incineration power generation waste heat to provide centralized heat to some enterprises in the industrial park. While solving the problem of straw treatment, it has achieved intensive utilization of residual energy and waste heat resources. In addition, Yongxin County introduced the Everbright Waste Incineration Power Generation Project, which processes an average of 300 tons of domestic waste per day. The service scope covers Yongxin County and surrounding areas such as Jinggangshan City, western Ji 'an County, Qiaotou Town, Taihe County, effectively solving the problem of domestic waste landfill treatment and avoiding the environmental risks of landfill treatment. The average daily power generation after incineration of domestic waste is about 120,000 kWh, which can meet the domestic electricity consumption of 24,000 households.
In 2023, the total installed capacity of new energy and clean energy in Yongxin County will reach 666.21 MW. It is expected that after the pumped storage power station and the Longyuan Wind Power Project are put into operation, the installed capacity of clean energy power generation in the county will reach 2000 MW, and the annual power generation will reach more than 2.1 billion kWh. The proportion of clean energy in the county will reach 70%, which can replace 600,000 tons of coal combustion and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 1.7 million tons. While contributing clean air and high-quality water resources to surrounding areas and downstream areas, it also transports more than 1 billion kWh of clean energy outside the county every year, truly transforming resource advantages into development advantages.
