The 25th IE Expo China opened in Shanghai
On April 18, the 25th IE Expo China, co-sponsored by the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, the China Chamber of Environmental Services, Messe München Group and China Trade Munich Messe (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., opened at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.
As Asia's flagship environmental protection exhibition, this year's exhibition brings together 2,457 environmental protection enterprises from 27 countries and regions around the world, with an exhibition area of 193,000 square meters. On the first day of the exhibition, professional visitors from all over the country and even the world participated in the observation and experience, business negotiation, exchange and learning. According to statistics, the number of visitors exceeded 50,000 on the 18th.

This year's IE Expo China is not only an exhibition to showcase innovative products and leading technologies for environmental protection, but also a platform for industry analysis and ideas to collide. The "2024 China Environmental Technology Conference Summit Forum", jointly sponsored by the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, the Environmental Service Chamber of Commerce of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and the Foreign Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, was held one day in advance.
Experts represented by Wang Jinnan, deputy director of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), chairman of the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, have expressed their insights. Experts at the meeting believe that at present, whether it is developed countries or China, the traditional environmental protection industry "track" is moving towards a period of stability or demand saturation, and the new demand and new forms of business generated by the new economy are still being cultivated and developed.
