In recent years, Jindong Paper, a subsidiary of APP China, as a solid force to promote the high-quality economic and social development of the Zhenjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, has comprehensively accelerated the pace of transformation and upgrading, focused on energy conservation and consumption reduction, digital and intelligent transformation, promoted the high-end, intelligent and green industry, and injected new momentum and created new advantages into the high-quality development of the Economic and Technological Development Zone.
With the implementation of the "double carbon" goal, Jindong Paper actively practices the concept of green and low-carbon development, and completes the ultra-low emission of boiler flue gas by investing nearly 150 million yuan ISO14064; In the 25-year life cycle, it can save 445,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 1.114 million tons, and explore green and low-carbon production methods.
"Paper companies are big energy consumers in the eyes of many people, but we believe that by further promoting scientific and technological innovation and energy saving, we can also make enterprises become big energy consumers." Jia Jingjiang, chief energy-saving officer of Jindong Paper, introduced that in recent years, Jindong Paper has vigorously implemented energy-saving technological transformation, carried out a series of energy-saving technological transformation projects such as "generator energy efficiency improvement", "paper machine energy efficiency improvement" and "wharf installation of hybrid frequency conversion shore power system", and also invited third-party professional institutions to "check the pulse" from the source of energy consumption with the assistance of the Science and Information Bureau of the Economic Development Zone, and carried out in-depth cooperation with mature energy-saving integrated manufacturers, which further guaranteed the effectiveness and sustainability of the energy-saving work of the whole plant.
While using technology to save energy and continuously reduce energy consumption, Jindong Paper also actively explores innovative means of saving raw and auxiliary materials such as water, wood, and pulp to fully improve the comprehensive utilization efficiency of resources. With the support of a series of key technologies such as bio-refining energy-saving technology and modified filler fiber saving technology, Jindong Paper's coated paper production has achieved higher pulp use efficiency and lower total fiber consumption. In particular, through in-depth research on filler coating technology, the ash content of medium and low-grade coated paper grades has been increased by 0.5%-1.5%, and the consumption of fresh wood pulp has been saved by more than 1,000 tons per year.
Jindong Paper not only has frequent highlights in energy conservation and consumption reduction, but also continues to make efforts in digital and intelligent transformation. In 2021, Jindong Paper's A4 lean management project was selected as a demonstration case of intelligent manufacturing in China's light industry; In 2022, Jindong Paper successfully obtained the AAA integration management system assessment certificate, becoming the first and only papermaking enterprise in China to pass this level of certification; In 2023, Jindong Paper will be awarded the provincial intelligent manufacturing demonstration workshop and become a pilot enterprise for the implementation of national digital transformation standards.
"Our lean management project has the industry's most advanced ERP management software, self-developed MES manufacturing software, and the most comprehensive and intelligent OA office automation." Lu Anyan, the relevant person in charge of the information technology department of the enterprise, introduced that since 2019, through process reorganization and system reconstruction, the process has been reasonably streamlined, the process has been established, and the data governance system, process system, information system system and decision-making analysis system have been created, and the factory informatization, industrialization transformation and reform have been upgraded and promoted. Last year, Jindong Paper 100,000 tons of thermal paper and 300,000 tons of special double-offset paper were fully put into production, with the blessing of digital intelligence, the structure of the product was further optimized, the product line was more rich and diversified, and the diversified product solutions were highly praised by customers.
In 2023, driven by green, low-carbon and digital intelligent transformation initiatives, Jindong Paper will achieve double growth in production capacity and revenue. In the next step, Jindong Paper will accelerate the construction of a green manufacturing system, actively explore and increase investment in the fields of deep energy-saving transformation, comprehensive utilization of resources, and circular economy construction, and continue to accelerate the transformation of digital intelligence, empower the integration of production business and the comprehensive upgrading of services, comprehensively improve production and management efficiency, and empower industrial transformation and upgrading.
