The prevention and control of solid waste pollution is linked to pollution reduction at one end and carbon reduction at the other end. Recently, reporters have visited Ningxia Zhongsheng Building Materials Technology Co., Ltd., Ningxia Yineng Solid Waste Resource Development Co., Ltd. and other enterprises to learn about our district's good practices and experiences in solid waste resource utilization.

When I came to the production workshop of Zhongsheng Company, I saw that the workshop was clean and sanitary without dust. Industrial waste such as fly ash and desulfurized gypsum generated by Ningxia Power Investment Xixia Thermal Power Co., Ltd., which is separated by a wall, is being directly transported to the raw material warehouse of Zhongsheng Company through sealed pipes, and is then subjected to material ratio, precise measurement, stirring and pouring, production processes such as cutting, steaming, and packaging of finished products, ultimately "turn waste into treasure" and become new green and environmentally friendly building materials-aerated blocks and ALC plates.

"The new green and environmentally friendly building materials we produce are characterized by light weight, heat insulation, heat insulation, noise reduction, and high strength. The walls built with this plate are not only smooth, but also eliminate the plastering process and save the labor of workers." Both fly ash and desulfurized gypsum are the main industrial solid wastes produced by coal-fired power plants. In recent years, some traditional fly ash processing companies have withdrawn from the market due to pollution and other reasons, while Yinchuan is facing the situation that a large amount of fly ash and desulfurized gypsum are directly landfill and disposed of because they cannot be used. Ningxia Zhongsheng Building Materials Technology Co., Ltd. is close to Ningxia Power Investment Xixia Thermal Power Co., Ltd., a "major waste producer", and has built a steam pressurized concrete slab and block production line that processes and produces industrial solid waste such as fly ash, turning fly ash into waste. treasure.

Shao Bo introduced that the company now disposes 350,000 tons of fly ash and 110,000 tons of desulfurized gypsum for power plants every year. It is expected that by the completion of the second production line in 2026, the annual comprehensive solid waste treatment capacity will reach 1 million tons, and the final project will be completed. It can reach a production capacity of 1 million cubic meters and digest 80% of the annual solid waste of Ningxia Power Investment Xixia Thermal Power Co., Ltd.

At Ningxia Yineng Solid Waste Resource Development Co., Ltd., the reporter saw that after CRT TVs were disassembled, they would produce disassembled products such as phosphors, lead-containing glass, waste screen glass, waste circuit boards, and waste wires and cables. Up to now, our district has cultivated a number of leading enterprises in the comprehensive utilization of industrial solid waste with advanced industrial technology, strong waste recycling innovation capabilities, and obvious regional radiation drive. More than 60% of coal mining enterprises have implemented ecological restoration and management projects. Among them, Shizuishan City has formed a general industrial solid waste recycling system and demonstration enterprise supported by enterprises such as Jiyuan Juntai Mine rock wool cementitious materials, a hazardous waste comprehensive utilization and disposal enterprise represented by Kaidi Chemical, a waste resource recycling and comprehensive utilization enterprise represented by Ningjie Rubber Waste Rubber Comprehensive Utilization, and Jieda Environmental Protection Domestic Waste, Kitchen Waste, Municipal Sludge, Medical Waste Comprehensive disposal, Incineration Power Generation, and Steam Export Industrial Park. Various solid waste recycling systems have been gradually improved, and a green development path of "resource-products-waste-renewable resources" has been explored.

"Our district will actively promote advanced equipment and technologies in the field of industrial production, promote source control and reduction of industrial solid waste, expand comprehensive utilization channels of solid waste, and promote the implementation of comprehensive utilization projects of industrial solid waste with large consumption volume and high added value. The comprehensive utilization capacity of industrial solid waste such as coal gangue, fly ash, slag, smelting waste residue, and chemical waste residue has been significantly improved."
