Promote ultra-low emission transformation. Ultra-low emission transformation is a necessary prerequisite for steel companies to achieve A-level success. In terms of organized governance, 16 newly added Class A steel companies in Hebei Province have added hundreds of millions of cubic meters of air to control, greatly improving their dust collection capacity; in terms of unorganized governance, systematic governance has been carried out in terms of raw material storage, material transfer, production process, ash unloading process, centralized control, etc. to achieve full coverage of effective dust suppression; in terms of monitoring and monitoring, online monitoring, air micro stations, video surveillance and other facilities are installed, and the data is compliant and controllable. Through ultra-low emission transformation, the total emissions of particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen oxides from the 16 newly added Class A steel companies have been reduced by approximately 3000 tons, 2800 tons, and 6000 tons respectively compared with 2021.
Promote the renewal of backward equipment. Stepping sintering machines in the steel industry are low-efficiency, high-energy-consuming and high-pollution processes and equipment. On the one hand, it has strictly supervised the environmental protection of stepping sintering machines in use, achieved full flue gas networking in the cooling section, and implemented the emission standard management of sintering machine heads; On the other hand, it helps steel companies speed up the environmental impact assessment approval procedures for the transformation and upgrading projects of stepping sintering machines. At present, all the environmental assessment procedures for eight long-process steel companies in the province involving stepping sintering machines have been completed, and the elimination of stepping sintering machines has taken a step forward. Substantial steps. In addition, Hebei Province has also accelerated the elimination of blast furnaces below 1000 cubic meters, and blast furnaces below 1000 cubic meters in the province are expected to be completely phased out before the end of 2024.
Optimize clean transportation methods. Among the 37 A-level steel enterprises in Hebei Province, 19 are equipped with special railway lines. Among them, non-Lingang steel enterprises in Tangshan City have achieved full coverage of special railway lines access. Continuously increase the proportion of transportation vehicles using pure electric and fuel cell vehicles. Currently, 37 steel companies have used more than 12000 electric heavy trucks and more than 300 hydrogen energy heavy trucks to transport bulk materials and finished products. Steel companies continue to optimize the transportation structure from inside to outside the factory.
Improve carbon monoxide control measures. Controlling carbon monoxide emissions from steel companies is an important focus in further improving ambient air quality. The "Level A Standard for Environmental Protection Performance in Key Industries of Hebei Province (Trial)" proposes a number of carbon monoxide control measures such as internal circulation of sintering head flue gas and blast furnace gas shutdown, and actively promotes the implementation of steel companies. Through in-depth optimization of carbon monoxide control measures for sintering machines in steel companies, Handan City has generally reduced the carbon monoxide emission concentration in the flue gas of sintering heads by about 30%.
