Hubei's first hydrogen energy demonstration line was put into operation, and the first batch of 30 Dongfeng hydrogen energy heavy trucks was delivered

On March 30, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle) and Hubei Provincial Communications Investment Group Co., Ltd. jointly built the Hanyi hydrogen energy demonstration line into operation. The first batch of 30 hydrogen heavy-duty trucks Dongfeng Tianlong KL hydrogen fuel tractors were delivered on site.

This model is the result of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle's continuous R&D and innovation in the field of hydrogen energy technology, with high endurance and good power performance, short hydrogen refueling time and high operational efficiency, which can greatly improve the level of new energy in logistics and transportation.

The investment and operation of the Hanyi hydrogen energy demonstration line will effectively promote the coordinated development of the upstream and downstream of the hydrogen energy industry chain, and build a complete closed-loop ecosystem from hydrogen production, hydrogen storage and transportation to hydrogen use, which is of great significance for optimizing the regional energy structure and reducing carbon emissions in the transportation industry.

It is understood that Hubei Province has deeply implemented the strategy of "Hydrogen Energy Strong Province", and made it clear that hydrogen energy is one of the six future industries with forward-looking layout. At present, 4 hydrogen refueling stations of Hubei Jiaotou Expressway have been built, one is under construction, two preliminary work has been started, and 3 are planned, and three hydrogen energy demonstration lines will be built in the future, including Hanyi, Hanshi, and Wuhuang, forming three radiation lines with Wuhan as the center and connecting the "three major metropolitan areas" of Yichang, Xiangyang, Wuhan, Hubei and Huanghuang, and comprehensively building an industrial chain, ecological chain and value chain of hydrogen energy in Hubei Expressway, helping Hubei Province to seize the new track of hydrogen energy industry.
