Recently, at the construction site of the Xinjiang Energy Lixin Mulei 500,000-kilowatt wind power project in the south of Laojun Temple in Mulei Kazakh Autonomous County, Xinjiang, giant cranes raised their long arms. Accompanied by the warning sound of "ticking", the boom slowly took off and landed, and moved the tower to the designated position. The scene was full of lively construction.
"The 5.6 MW unit tower hoisted this time has a total height of 110 meters, an impeller diameter of 204 meters, a single blade length of 99 meters, and a total weight of 484.55 tons. So far, the project has completed the excavation of 80 fan foundations and the pouring of 48 fan foundations. Next, we will track the progress of the project every day to ensure that the project is completed before November 30 and put into production before the end of December." said Fu Binbin, manager of Xinjiang Energy's 500,000-kilowatt wind power project.
It is understood that a total of 80 wind turbines have been installed in Xinjiang Energy's Lixin Mullei 500,000-kilowatt wind power project. This project is one of the 2.5 million-kilowatt wind power projects in Mullei. The Mulei 2.5 million-kilowatt wind power project is a key project in the autonomous region with a total investment of 8.2 billion yuan, supporting 250,000 kilowatts/500,000 kilowatt hours of energy storage, and a planned area of 762,000 acres. After the project is completed and connected to the grid, it is estimated that the average annual power generation capacity will be 6.25 billion kilowatt-hours, which will save about 1.8793 million tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 6.2313 million tons.
In order to fully promote the high-standard and high-quality construction of the Mulei 2.5-million-kilowatt wind power project, Mulei Kazakh Autonomous County firmly establishes the concept of "project is king", continuously innovates working methods, establishes special work teams, goes deep into the front line and proactively provides services, comprehensively grasps key aspects such as project quality and safety, continues to consolidate project guarantee responsibilities, adheres to project-based promotion and list-based management, and fully coordinates problems encountered during the project construction process. Ensure that the project is put into operation and effective as soon as possible. Continue to lay a solid foundation and accumulate new momentum through high-quality project construction.
"For the 372-foundation wind turbine foundations of the Mulei 2.5-million-kilowatt wind power project, 354 foundations have been poured of cushion layers, 258 foundations have been bundled of steel bars, and 211 foundations have been poured. The overall completion rate of the project has reached 70%. In the next step, we will focus on the goal of 'completion by the end of November and grid power generation by the end of December' to ensure the completion of high-quality construction of the project." said Wang Duogang, director of the Industrial Development Bureau of Minsheng Industrial Park in Mulei Kazakh Autonomous County.
