This evaluation not only marks the low-carbon and environmentally friendly characteristics of Xianju bayberry in the production process, but also symbolizes that Xianju County has taken solid steps in promoting the development of green agriculture.

According to reports, the carbon label certificate obtained this time is based on a strict assessment of the life cycle carbon emissions of Xianju bayberry. The results show that the carbon footprint value of 1kg of Xianju bayberry product is 0.5116 kg CO2e (equivalent carbon dioxide, which refers to the carbon emissions emitted after gas consumption), while its carbon sink absorption is as high as 1.2158 kg CO2e/kg, and the net carbon footprint reaches-0.7042 kg CO2e. This means that during its growth, Xianju bayberry not only did not increase the carbon dioxide content in the atmosphere, but also helped reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The reason why Xianju Yangmei can achieve such excellent carbon footprint performance is inseparable from the series of green measures adopted in its production process. Xianju is known as the "Hometown of Chinese bayberry" and one of the origins of artificial cultivation of bayberry in the world. Bayberry has been cultivated for more than 1000 years. Its bayberry is famous for its large fruits, bright color and delicious taste.
