Special actions to centrally rectify illegal issues in the housing and ecological environment fields in Inner Mongolia were carried out in an orderly manner
In the past few days, the autonomous region's special action working group for centralized rectification of illegal issues in the field of housing construction and ecological environment has gone deep into Hohhot, Baotou, Xing 'an League, Tongliao, Chifeng, Erdos, Bayannur, Erenhot and other league cities and some flag counties to supervise and guide the centralized rectification special action. The working group adopts methods such as listening to reports, consulting materials, exchanging discussions, unannounced visits and spot checks, and on-site inspections to provide on-site guidance on various problems discovered and promote various departments to make changes.
In accordance with the deployment requirements of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region, the Autonomous Region's Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Department of Ecology and Environment, the Forestry and Grassland Bureau, and the Public Security Department will jointly launch a special action to centralized rectification of illegal issues in the fields of housing and ecological environment from late June to the end of 2024, focusing on urban and rural garbage disposal. There are 24 outstanding issues in five aspects, including construction market and housing municipal project bidding, hazardous waste management, environmental monitoring data, deforestation and grass destruction, and adopt the "investigation and rectification" approach. We will severely crack down on illegal and criminal activities, focus on correcting problems strongly reported by the masses, seriously investigate and deal with a number of typical cases exposed, cut off the chain of illegal interests, standardize industry and market order, establish and improve long-term working mechanisms, and prevent similar problems from occurring at the source.
At present, various leagues and cities in Inner Mongolia have established multi-department joint working groups to comprehensively carry out investigation and law enforcement inspections.
The Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Chifeng City systematically sorts out waste management work, issues normative documents, standardizes the construction of construction waste consumption plants, establishes an assessment and scoring mechanism for waste management work and a full-chain supervision platform for construction waste, and implements effective monitoring on all aspects of production, collection, transportation and disposal of construction waste. A total of 222 random garbage piles were investigated in the city, of which 158 were rectified and 64 were being taken rectification measures, clearing about 9,500 tons of domestic garbage and about 53,000 tons of construction waste.
The Ecological Environment Bureau of Xing 'an League has strengthened full-process management, conducted surprise inspections on the operation and maintenance of corporate pollution source online monitoring facilities, severely cracked down on fraud of environmental monitoring data, and conducted feedback from previous ecological and environmental protection inspectors of the central and autonomous regions and complaints and reports from the masses. Carry out a comprehensive review of clues to problems. At the same time, ecological and environmental law enforcement was extended to township Sumu, forming a linkage mechanism with township comprehensive law enforcement to crack down on illegal and criminal activities such as illegal production and processing activities and illegal discharge of hazardous waste in rural and pastoral areas. 46 enterprises were identified and 433 clues were found.
