At present, the electricity consumption of commercial buildings only accounts for 45%-75% of its total energy consumption, therefore, to achieve "dual control", it is necessary to promote the building energy consumption management from power consumption management to electricity, gas and heat consumption management as soon as possible. On the other hand, because the energy consumption of commercial buildings is relatively high, the space is larger, which has become the top priority for energy conservation and carbon reduction in the building field.
In order to promote the green and low-carbon transformation of the construction sector, the Office of the Beijing Municipal Leading Group for Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality issued the "Work Plan for Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction of Beijing Civil Buildings and the Green Development Plan for Civil Buildings during the 14th Five-Year Plan Period" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"), which put forward the requirements of "carrying out research on the technical path of energy conservation and carbon reduction of civil buildings and achieving carbon neutrality, and organizing special research on carbon neutrality technology". How to implement the requirements of the "Planning", the author believes that the leading role of the group standard in energy conservation and carbon reduction of commercial buildings should be fully utilized.

It generally takes about two years to compile national standards and industry standards, and it generally only takes about 3 months to compile group standards, which shows that group standards can meet the needs of enterprises in a timely manner, and at the same time, enterprises can make their products and services based on evidence and improve their management level by participating in the formulation of group standards.
