Solar panels are densely lined up on the roof, and the 40-degree sun allows them to absorb energy with "full firepower". The area of more than 400 square meters effectively adds new energy to the oil depot. The reporter learned from Sinopec Zhejiang Ningbo Petroleum Branch that recently, Sanguantang Oil Depot obtained a "Carbon Neutralization Certificate" issued by a third-party professional organization, becoming the first "Carbon Neutralization" oil depot in Zhejiang Province.

It is reported that in recent years, Sinopec Sanguantang Oil Depot has actively promoted carbon neutrality pilot exploration and has built a distributed photovoltaic power generation system with 212 455WP photovoltaic modules, a total installed capacity of 96.46KW, and a photovoltaic panel deployment area of about 470 square meters. The entire project adopts the "spontaneous self-use, surplus electricity online" model to achieve uninterrupted switching with the State Grid. According to estimates, the Sanguantang Oil Depot photovoltaic power generation project is expected to have an annual power generation capacity of 110,000 kilowatt hours.

According to the accounting methods and requirements of the "Guidelines for Accounting Methods and Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emissions of China's Oil and Natural Gas Production Enterprises (Trial)", a third-party professional organization conducted the greenhouse gas emissions of Sinopec Sanguantang Oil Depot from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023. The total amount of emissions was calculated. Sanguantang Oil Depot vigorously promotes energy conservation and consumption reduction through measures such as photovoltaic power generation, elimination of high-energy-consuming equipment, installation of air-conditioning energy-saving controllers and LED energy-saving lights, and green electricity trading to achieve full offset of carbon emissions, thereby achieving carbon neutrality.

The Sanguantang Oil Depot, located in Jiangbei District, Ningbo City, was completed and put into operation in 1958. It covers an area of 103,000 square meters, has a total storage capacity of 78600 cubic meters, and has an annual throughput of about 3.93 million tons. The average daily oil delivery on the road is 5400 tons. It undertakes oil storage and transfer tasks. It is currently the most diverse oil products in Zhejiang and the largest average daily highway shipment.
