Recently, S & P Global released the "Sustainable Development Yearbook (China Edition) 2024". LONGi Green Energy was selected for its outstanding performance in environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG), and was awarded the special commendation of "Best Progressive Company in the Industry" in the Enterprise Sustainability Assessment (CSA).

The Standard & Poor's Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) covers sustainability assessment standards in 62 different industries. It quantifies information disclosure and performance in environmental, social, governance, economic and other aspects, and comprehensively reflects the level of corporate sustainable development management. More than 1700 Chinese companies participated in the 2023 Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), and a total of 129 companies were selected in the yearbook, 39 of which received special commendations.

It is understood that the global version of the Sustainable Development Yearbook has attracted great attention from global companies and their stakeholders. This year marks the 20th consecutive anniversary of the publication of the Sustainable Development Yearbook. It is also the second year that S & P has released the Sustainable Development Yearbook (China Edition). It aims to identify and commend Chinese companies that have demonstrated sustainable development advantages in their respective industries.

Over the years, LONGi has improved photovoltaic cell conversion efficiency through continuous technology research and development and innovation iteration, reduced the cost of photovoltaic power generation, achieved cost reduction and efficiency improvement in the photovoltaic industry, and helped achieve global energy transformation and carbon neutrality goals. As of the end of 2023, LONGi's cumulative shipments of photovoltaic silicon wafers exceeded 414.24GW, accounting for 27% of the global cumulative photovoltaic installed capacity. It can generate 1.7361 billion kWh of green electricity, equivalent to avoiding 812 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions, contributing to global climate action and sustainable development. In the social field, LONGi has increased its actions in areas such as due diligence management, green supply chains and diversity and inclusiveness. In June 2024, the company released LONGi's human rights policy for the first time at the InterSolar exhibition in Germany. In terms of supply chain management, LONGi helps suppliers carry out carbon inventory and energy conservation and emission reduction actions, launches diversified supplier plans, and joins hands with upstream and downstream partners to build a green and sustainable supply chain.
