The reporter learned from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Natural Resources that the sea used for the 2 million kilowatt tidal flat photovoltaic demonstration project of China Nuclear Tianwan has recently been approved by the State Council. The approved sea area of the project is 18757761 hectares (about 28,000 mu), with a total investment of about 9 billion yuan and an average annual output value of about 880 million yuan, making it the largest offshore photovoltaic project in the country.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Natural Resources, after the completion of the project, it can provide an average of 2 billion kilowatt-hours of clean electricity per year, save about 795,000 tons of standard coal per year, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 609,600 tons per year.
