The Beijing Green Exchange helped Poly Development Holding Beijing Company achieve carbon neutrality in an all-round way

On March 12, the unveiling ceremony of carbon neutrality and the theme seminar on the high-quality development of central enterprises jointly organized by Poly Development Holdings Beijing Company and Beijing Green Exchange were held in Poly International Plaza.

Poly Development Holding Beijing Co., Ltd. has always practiced the concept of ESG development of central enterprises, adhered to green development as one of the company's core strategies, committed to promoting the green transformation and sustainable development of the industry, continued to make efforts in leading the green and low-carbon industry, and explored a green "Poly model" with the characteristics of central enterprises.

Referring to the "Implementation Guide for Carbon Neutrality for Enterprises" and other relevant requirements, the Beijing Green Exchange carried out a series of work such as carbon emission accounting and carbon neutrality assessment for Poly Development Holding Beijing Company. Since 2021, Poly Daduhui, Poly International Plaza, and Poly Plaza have carried out carbon neutrality certification for three consecutive years. In 2023, Poly Xiyue Linyu N+ Apartment will complete the carbon neutrality certification. Since then, the five major projects of Poly Development Holding Beijing Company's self-owned assets, including the commercial office and apartment sectors, have fully achieved the goal of carbon neutrality in their operations.

This not only marks a solid step taken by Poly Development Holding Beijing Company in terms of green development, but also sets a new benchmark for the entire industry and the green development of central enterprises, demonstrating its responsibility.

At the meeting, the Beijing Green Exchange issued carbon neutrality certificates to five projects, including Poly Daduhui, International Plaza, Jimen No. 1, Poly Plaza, and Poly Xiyue Linyu N+ Apartment.

Poly Development Holdings Beijing Co., Ltd. will take this certification ceremony as an opportunity to further deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Beijing Green Exchange, integrate the concept of green and low-carbon operation into all aspects of management, improve the construction of low-carbon operation system, practice the social responsibility of central enterprises, and contribute to the realization of the "double carbon" goal.

After the ceremony, the relevant leaders of the SASAC and representatives of central enterprises jointly held a closed-door seminar on the low-carbon and high-quality development of central enterprises. Representatives of central enterprises actively spoke and expressed their opinions, in-depth discussions on how to practice ESG concepts, and exchanged views to further promote the sustainable development of enterprises. Wang Yang, Deputy Director of the Social Responsibility Bureau of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, put forward directional guidance for central enterprises to practice social responsibility and implement relevant work from a policy perspective, and put forward valuable suggestions for the Beijing Green Exchange to better use market-oriented tools to support the high-quality development of central enterprises.
