Centralized delivery of a batch of new energy vehicles in Hefei

On June 4, a centralized delivery ceremony for new energy vehicles organized by the Anhui Province Construction Machinery Association with the theme of "Zero Carbon Technology Green Jianghuai" was held at Anhui China Construction Company in Hefei. Fang Xibang, former president of Anhui Province Automobile Industry Association, Anhui Province Machinery Association President Wang Dongsheng, Zhang Zheng, deputy director of the Special Management Center of Hefei City Ecological Environment Bureau, Huang Laiyan, marketing director of Xugong New Energy Vehicle Company, Chu Xiaolin, chairman of Anhui China Construction Company, Chen Yonghua, Chairman of Anhui Baian Company, and others participated in the event. At the ceremony, Xugong New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd. introduced measures to support clean transportation, emission reduction and carbon reduction, and delivered the key to new energy vehicles to Anhui Baian Company.

Diesel trucks are a key area for mobile source pollution emissions. Promoting the "rail transit" of bulk cargo transportation and increasing the proportion of clean road transportation are necessary measures to control air pollution and create green waters and green mountains. The delivery of 60 new energy pure electric heavy trucks is estimated to reduce 6312 tons of carbon dioxide per year, which will effectively reduce transportation carbon emissions, increase the proportion of clean transportation by enterprises, and provide strong support for the continuous improvement of the city's air quality.

In the next step, Hefei's Ecological Environment Department will focus on increasing the proportion of railway transportation and road clean transportation by industrial and mining enterprises, muck transportation, logistics parks, and source receiving and shipping enterprises, encourage and support the use of new energy trucks, and adopt policy guidance and market mechanisms to promote the popularization of new energy trucks, reduce reliance on traditional diesel trucks, and strive to build a development pattern in which railways are the main focus for medium and long-distance transportation of bulk goods and clean transportation is the main focus for short-distance transportation.
