Sichuan's first digital zero-carbon power supply service station has generated more than 20,000 kilowatt-hours of power

On May 28, State Grid Sichuan Province Electric Power Company revealed that in Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, the clean energy power generation capacity of the "source-network-load-storage" microgrid system of State Grid Aba Jiuzhaigou Power Supply Service Station reached 23,700 kilowatt-hours. The power generation covers all production and domestic electricity consumption of the service station, equivalent to saving about 29.18 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 12.48 tons.

It is reported that the Jiuzhaigou Power Supply Service Station is located in Zechawazhai, the core area of Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. It was officially put into operation on December 18, 2023 after passing the carbon neutrality certification of the National Inspection Group. It is currently the first digital and zero-carbon power supply service station in Sichuan Province to obtain carbon neutrality certification. "Digital Smart Zero Carbon" refers to the realization of clean energy production, electrification of energy consumption and zero carbon emissions of service stations through intelligent collaborative control of "source-network-load-storage"(i.e. power supply, power grid, load, and energy storage).

Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area is a world natural heritage site and a world biosphere reserve. After the Jiuzhaigou earthquake on August 8, 2017, Jiuzhaigou, which returned from "makeup repair", accelerated the creation of a "low-carbon, environmentally friendly and green" modern ecological scenic spot and promoted the implementation of green and low-carbon development strategies. In 2019, State Grid Aba Power Supply Company officially took over the power supply business of Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. Combined with the characteristics of Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, State Grid Aba Power Supply Company actively explores the path of new energy zero-carbon ecological power supply service stations.

Jiuzhaigou Power Supply Service Station integrates photovoltaic power generation, energy storage facilities, and charging piles. It uses photovoltaic tiles laid on the roofs of buildings in the station to produce clean electricity. By applying cutting-edge technologies such as flexible AC and DC distribution devices and V2G, it builds a "source-grid-charge-storage" microgrid system, realizing the spontaneous self-use of clean energy, surplus storage, local consumption and 100% green power consumption of service stations.

Since the Jiuzhaigou Power Supply Service Station was officially put into use at the end of last year,"Digital Intelligence Zero Carbon" is continuing to release the "green effect". In the next step, State Grid Aba Power Supply Company will actively carry out the construction of new power systems, using the Jiuzhaigou Power Supply Service Station as a model to build a green zero-carbon micro-grid demonstration site in Sichuan Province.
