The reporter learned that in order to implement the "double carbon" major strategy, vigorously develop green and low-carbon buildings, promote energy conservation and carbon reduction in the construction sector, and help form a green and low-carbon production and lifestyle, special funds will closely follow the national and provincial regulations on energy conservation and carbon reduction, Green development and other requirements, support 11 high-quality green building demonstration projects, all designed and built in accordance with two-star and above green building standards. After completion, the carbon emission intensity will be reduced by an average of 40% compared with similar buildings; Support 5 ultra-low energy consumption building demonstration projects, and the comprehensive energy-saving rate of buildings after completion exceeds 90%; support 7 photovoltaic production capacity building and energy micro-grid application demonstration projects, all using solar photovoltaic building integration technology; support existing building energy-saving transformation There are 9 demonstration projects, and the energy-saving rate after completion exceeds 20%.
According to estimates, after the implementation of the project, it will support the construction of a green building cluster demonstration area of 2.028 million square meters, a high-quality green building area of 967,000 square meters, a photovoltaic capacity building and energy microgrid application area of 183,000 square meters, and an existing building energy efficiency improvement area of 791,000 square meters, with an annual carbon emission reduction of approximately 63,000 tons.
It is noteworthy that the finance of Jiangsu Province also focuses on area integration, systematically promotes the green development of urban and rural construction, focuses on developing green and low-carbon buildings and accelerating regional green agglomeration development, and supports the Changzhou Lake Innovation Zone and Yancheng High-tech Zone Smart Innovation Park to carry out the construction of a "Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutralization Pilot Zone for Urban and Rural Construction."

Green building areas of two-star and above account for 100%, and ultra-low energy consumption and near-zero energy consumption building areas account for 30.65%; Yancheng High-tech Zone Smart Innovation Park plans to carry out six major actions to "promote low-carbon development of buildings, innovate energy supply models, develop low-carbon transportation, strengthen resource recycling, increase green space carbon sinks, and improve carbon emission management capabilities" to comprehensively popularize two-star green buildings, and the resource utilization rate of construction waste exceeds 85%.
In addition, Jiangsu will also actively implement the national decisions and arrangements on equipment renewal, promote the application of energy-efficient equipment in buildings, and accelerate the promotion of energy-saving and carbon-reduction renovation of buildings. Special funds support the pilot project of "Building Energy-Saving Equipment Renewal" to promote the renovation of external doors, windows and exterior walls of public buildings, as well as the renovation and renovation of building energy equipment such as heat pump units, chillers, and lighting equipment.
