Zhao Chenxin, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission:The output of photovoltaic modules has ranked first in the world for 16 consecutive years, providing 70% of photovoltaic modules and 60% of wind power equipment to the world. In the first half of 2024, my country's new energy vehicle market penetration rate reached 35.2%, ranking first among major economies.

The home activities of the 2024 National Ecology Day include a conference on important achievements of ecological civilization, theoretical seminars and experience exchange meetings on ecological civilization construction, and the first national ecological product recommendation display. After carbon emission verification and certification, this year's National Ecology Day home event achieved "carbon neutrality".
